It's a boy!

Grandma and Grandpa Sanguinet came with us to our ultrasound last Friday afternoon and we found out we are having a boy. He is all boy! I wanted to post the picture showing his manhood as proof, but nobody would let me do that to him (I guess for the same reasons that I took the pictures of when I was little and naked from my parent's house...very embarrassing, I know). I am just a proud daddy wanting to show off my boy!

I can't wait to teach him to love God, to have respect...especially for women and his mom...and how to play sports (hopefully God blesses him with those genes!). I am so excited to see him in the end of September/early October.

Amy is feeling better and is getting used to the morning sickness...yes she is still getting sick almost every morning. She is starting to feel him move more often and let's me know when she feels him (I am so jealous and can't wait until I get to feel him kick).

As far as names go, we are still thinking about naming him Hunter Thomas, but have thought about a few different names. Anyone have any suggestions (my mom doesn't really like Hunter!).

  1. Yay!! Congratulations! The boys really have it this year! I am so happy for you guys. I have a ton of boy names I like, but they are all a little floofy. That's why Phil doesn't like them. But I really like Caspian, Tristan, Gabriel, and Beckham. And I like Hunter too :)

  2. posting pics of his manhood is definitely like mom having naked pics of you - except worse cause you'd be putting it ONLINE. geez son. you cant do that to my nephew!

  3. Thanks for having us at the ultrasound. We are so blessed to be included, even if I do expect it! :) No matter the name of my grandson, I will love him immensely...I already love him and have not met him yet.

  4. So, so cool! I like the name Hunter. I've always liked the name Connor for a boy, but never had the chance to use it!! If you decide on Hunter, your mom will learn to love it once he's born. It won't matter what you name him, she will love him sooooo much!
